Wild Rover is a large, fun and highly sociable environment, which houses within the hostel a complete Irish bar. The bar is open daily until 2 am.

Latest improvements at Wild Rover Hostel:
After considering suggestions and comments from previous guests, we have just completed an expansion of the hostel. This includes a new quiet area away from the bar, featuring small dorms, large dorms, girls-only dorms and matrimonial rooms. There are also two new sunny patios where you can chill out after a long bus trip.

Of course we have extended our bathroom and shower facilities maintaining our usual high cleanliness standards, and upgrades to our boiler systems will ensure that we continue to have the best showers in La Paz.

Once home to Bolivia's presidents, our 120 year old house has been renovated from top to bottom to give you all the facilities that are hard to find in Bolivia, in a safe and fun environment.

So after that white knuckle Bolivian bus ride, check-in and chill out with us. Enjoy a real hot power shower (24 hours a day) that are not wired to the mains, the comfiest beds in South America with winter/summer duvets, backpack lockers in your room for your security.

English speaking friendly staff from all around the globe who will try and help you with all your needs, a travel agency to book all your trips and bus tickets.

A real authentic Irish bar with a breakfast lunch and dinner menu, nightly drink specials and activities, pool table and a large screen T.V. to watch your favourite sports .

Common areas include our cosy T.V. room with all the latest DVD's and we also have cable T.V. to keep in touch with all the news and sports from home, our sunny courtyard where you can enjoy your free continental breakfast and catch up on your books or just chat with fellow travellers, 24 hours a day free internet and Wi-Fi in most areas of the house.

Check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 1 pm so if you are arriving early in the morning and you would like a bed before 2pm you will need to book for the previous day and inform us of your arrival time.

All our prices are fixed in local currency, Bolivianos. The exchange rate of U.S. Dollars fluctuates daily, therefore if you want to pay in U.S. Dollars we will apply the current exchange rate on the date of your departure.
